Feel Inside Lyrics by Charlie Moose Drinking a beer And sitting here all alone Writing this song Wishing you were at home Time goes slow Hoping you'll soon appear Feels so good When you are near And I know I can Deal with it tonight In the end I know It will turn out right Turn out so right Cause I feel inside Yes I feel inside Our love can't die Yes I feel inside Kind of strange The way that You just phoned Telling me You'd soon be home And I know I can Deal with it tonight In the end I know It will turn out right Turn out so right Cause I feel inside Yes I feel inside Our love can't die Yes I feel inside |
This tune was
written on an acoustic guitar it's a very simple chord progression. I
remember sitting in my living room writing this one, the melody came
instantly. I had this one like most of them with no lyrics, just the
melody line for a while. The lyrics weren't written until the entire
song was complete, I was siting in the studio listening back to the
track, it was February 14th Valentines Day and Michele was at school,
William Paterson College at the time I believe. I was drinking a
beer, originally the lyric was "drinking a bud", I eventually changed
"bud" to "beer". I was a little bummed out being alone on V-Day, and as
I was writing the phone rings and it's Michele to tell me she's leaving
class early and she'll be right home. Honestly that's just the way it
happened
